End of May School Activities For My Girls

1 June, 2016 by KatBp 130 Comments

DSC_1437

Last week my daughters both had a lot of great activities going on for school. One of those was a field trip for my youngest daughter to a place called Fawn Doe Rosa. This place has a lot of animals, which many you can feed. My husband and I were able to attend this filed trip with my daughter too.

DSC_1439

All the kids had a great time feeding the animals. Above you’ll find my daughter (in the middle) with some of her friends. They’re all feeding the geese.

DSC_1444

There was a fox there too. The fox was so cute!

DSC_1461

The peacock was very beautiful! That was probably one of my favorites there. I love being able to see peacocks.

DSC_1462

Pigs are one of my favorite animals. It was fun to be able to see them there too.

DSC_1445

My daughter and her friends also had some fun feeding the deer. There were deer all over to feed. Some were out walking around as well. The deer are always one of my favorites here because they’re so much fun to feed.

DSC_1455

There were also goats and sheep there. Those are always fun to feed as well. You always have to be careful with the goats because they’ll try to take all your food.

There were many other animals there as well, but those were just some of them. My daughter had a lot of fun being able to feed all the animals and being able to pet them as well. After we were done with her field trip I was able to go to my oldest daughters track and field day.

DSC_1478

My daughter is the one in the white shirt with black pants and she’s got a pink headband on. She was able to do three different events for track and field day. They all included running too.

DSC_1482

I was very proud of my daughter for doing a great job. She had a lot of fun too. I love when they do track & field because it’s a great way for all kids to get some great exercise.

DSC_1490

The last part my daughter participated in, was the relay race. I have a photo above of that, but it’s hard to see since she was on the opposite side. This is where kids run 1/4 of the track and hand off a baton to the next person and they keep going til the last person is done. Overall my daughter did very well and she had a lot of fun. They all received ribbons at the end as well.

WP_20160526_14_18_10_Pro

My oldest had a play the next day as well. This play was called “Why Bear Has a Stumpy Tail.” My oldest is very shy, so I wasn’t sure how it was going to go with the play. It turned out that she did all her parts with other people too. That means she talked in a group, which is good for her because she’s very shy and would most likely have not talked.

WP_20160526_14_28_44_Pro

It was a very cute play too. All the kids made their own costumes. My daughter played a mouse. After the play was over we all were able to stay with our kids and have some treats. My youngest was even able to come in and eat with us once school was over since it wasn’t long after the play ended that school was over.

Overall we had an amazing week last week. My daughters had so many amazing activities going on. We all had a lot of fun. School is just about over for the year for my girls too. June 2nd is their final day and I’ll be able to eat with them for a cookout as well. This school year went by so quick.

Are your kids out of school yet? If not, how many days do they have left?

Looks like the kids are having fun. Back when I was a kid, I love going to zoo or anywhere as long as I can see animals activities.

I’ve been in an activity like these when I was about the age of those kids. It is so wonderful to interact with the animals.

It looks like fun. I had a goose chase me once. I think she had an egg and I got too close to the area. 😉 She made her point. 🙂

These geese were really nice. I’m not a fan of geese, but at least these ones were good.

We aren’t done until next Friday, but I cannot wait for some summer fun! I’m trying to organize a schedule so I can still get work done, but have plenty of time with the kiddos. I love pigs too–they’re so cute!
