Curtains and Towels For Your Home

21 November, 2016 by KatBp 56 Comments

Disclosure: I received these products in exchange for a post. The opinions are all 100% my own and may differ from yours.

As some of you may know, I just bought my first house two months ago. That means that I had to buy a lot of housing products for my home. I still have some things I’d love to fix up around my home, but with time we’ll get there. I’m sure we all know that having a house is a lot of work. You have a lot to buy for your new home, and for us that included some new items, like curtains and towels.

I was able to review a couple of products for my home. I got some curtains from Eclipse Curtains and I also got some towels from Micro Cotton. These are both great products that I’ll make great use of around my home. We have a lot of curtains up, and I needed another set for my sliding door, so these curtains I received were perfect for that. The towels I can always use, so that was nice to have too.

I wanted a more neutral color for curtains, so I went with the Eclipse Phoenix Blackout Window Curtains in the color of smoke. I really liked this color, because of how well I thought it would go against my sliding doors. I wanted the blackout curtains because it wouldn’t let any sun through. It can get very bright through our sliding door, so I knew I had to have these.

With the Blackout curtains, the yarns are intricately woven into the panel giving it a rich hand and luxurious drapability. I thought they were great for where I put them. We have these nice wood walls by the screen door, so I wanted something that was going to look really nice with that. I’m glad I chose these curtains, because I thought they looked great.

I was actually really thrilled to receive these towels. I’ve never had such nice towels before. I could tell before I got these, that they were going to be soft ones. For me, soft towels are the best towels. This  is a brand new product line that features ultra-absorbent and plush wash cloths, hand towels, bath towels and bath sheets. Supremely soft, amazingly absorbent and luxuriously lofty, the Noble Excellence Micro Cotton Elite Towel Collection is constructed using Micro Cotton’s decades of experience.

My set did come with four types of towels too. I got the bath, body, hand and washcloth towels. I’m always in need of new towels, so of course I was happy to get them. The quality was even better! I always have to have soft body towels. I don’t want to get out of the shower and have an old towel that is rough on the skin. You want something that is going to be soft on your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin. These are great towels for my youngest daughter, who has eczema.

If you’re looking for any of these items for you home, I’d highly suggest them both. I’m certainly thrilled to have both the curtains and the towels. The curtains have done a great job blocking out all the light. There is no light that comes in while these curtains are up and opened. As for the towels, they’re the softest towels I’ve ever had!

Those sound great. It’s so hard for me to sleep if there’s any light in the room, even exterior safety lights.

Blackout curtains can be fabulous when you need a room to stay dark even in the day. It is important to have good, quality towels also because they will hold up longer than cheap ones.

I need some new towels. Ours are super old. I just have a hard time finding the big ones that we prefer. I had to take our curtains down in the house because we put it on the market to sale. I miss having them but at the same time I enjoy the sunshine.
