Spooky Glowing Slime

18 October, 2018 by KatBp 30 Comments

Halloween is right around the corner! This is one of my favorite times of the year. I love all things spooky! One of the best parts about Halloween for me, is watching my daughters get dressed up to go trick or treating. They always have so much fun, and it’s nice to see all the kids out having a great time. I love seeing all the kids dressed up in costumes too. It’s so much fun seeing what everyone is dressing up as. Since it is almost Halloween, and our family has a love for slime, I decided to make some spooky glowing slime.

The fun thing about this slime, is that it’s got all kinds of creepy items in it, and it also glows in the dark. We love glow in the dark slime! It’s so much fun being able to see it glow in the dark.

What you’ll need:

Elmer’s Glow in the Dark Slime Kit (comes with the glue and magical liquid, or you can be them separate too)

Bowl

Mixing Spoon

Tablespoon

Googly Eyes

Creepy Halloween Rings (spiders, skulls, bats)

The first thing you’re going to want to do, is to take the glue and pour it all out in to a bowl.

Now you want to pour just 2 tablespoons of the magical liquid in with the glue.

Now you want to mix it up real good. Once you have it mixed up, make sure to add another 2 tablespoons of the magical liquid and mix it up again. You’ll keep mixing til it forms the slime. You can add a little more of the magical liquid if it’s to sticky too.

Now you want to just keep kneading it until you get it to the consistency that you want.

Now if you’re using the plastic spooky rings, you may want to cut off the ring pieces. I cut them off because it makes it easier for the slime. You don’t have to if you don’t want, but I prefer to cut those off.

The googly eyes, spiders, bats and skulls can get added in now. The amount really depends on how much you want in there. You can decide how much of everything you’d like to add to it.

Now you can mix everything up in there and add or take out pieces as you wish. I like to add more to get it to really look more spooky. Sometimes when you just let the slime sit, you may not see all the creepy items in there, so I like to add more. You can see them a lot better once you stretch the slime out though.

Now you can take your slime in to a dark room and watch it glow! The glow in the dark slime is so neat to see. Kids love it!

I hope you have fun with this slime recipe and have a safe and happy Halloween!

“Magical Liquid” best product name ever! My kids would have fun with that alone. They love making slime. I can’t wait to find this and make some with the kids. We’ve never made glow in the dark slime

I can’t believe that Elmers sells activator. Do you know how much mess and money that would save in my house?
